The outdoor swimming pool is beautiful, large enough for a little swim, with views right on the seaside and the celebrated local pine grove. You can easily go from beach to swimming pool. We were well received and kindly upgraded to a huge, luxurious room; every comfort you can think of was there. The circulation from bedroom to onsen to swimming pool can be complex, but we were given an English language map that greatly helped. This was our second stay in Karatsu, and we'd love to come back and stay in Karatsu Seaside Hotel another time !

It is highly recommended for guest at this Ryokan to have at least one dinner meal during the stay.

Guests have access to a hot spring bath and open-air bath. Oh my, what didn't I like. Everything was great, from the water in the onsen, the dinner, the breakfast, the staff. I really cannot complain about anything.

Cosy public bath..they had private bath which needed reservations.. Meals were very good.....location is beautiful. In the middle of the mountains....

This 2-star ryokan provides a spa experience, with its hot spring bath and public bath. The ryokan features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and clean with everything we needed. The onsen bath was really unique, worth the trip :) The island and harbour are very charming and most importantly of all, Emi-san was an incredibly nice host who went out of her way to help us - thank you so much Emi-san, we won’t forget our stay !

Huge rooms with lots of amenities. Nice Onsen. Nice complementary lounge. Excellent dinner and service. Had an early departure before breakfast- they packed a Bento Box for me to eat on the train. Facilities and service exceeded my expectations.

It was a perfectly manicured property and every room offered a breathtaking ocean view. Their kaiseki dinner was delicious and their service was to die for. We told them that we’re celebrating our husbands’ big birthday there and we’re what they’d come up with. They offered them a lovely birthday cake with traditional Japanese celebration attire for them to try on! We loved their care and wonderful hospitality.

Providing various types of indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths, the hotel offers a free shuttle to/from JR Saga Train Station, 18 km away. A lot of indoir and outdoor hot springs to enjoy. Near to the onsen village, which is good for a leisure stroll. Food in the hotel was good, and the staff were very attentive.
