Kaiseki dinner was impressive and performance ( singing) of owner well placed to set the scene in the great dining room. Very friendly and attentive staff. View of external onsen mind blowing!

The hotel is directly located at the base station of the ropeway to temple Tairyuji, hence is a great starting point for visiting it. They had one colleague at the check-in who spoke english. The hotel has an Onsen-like spa, which I really enjoyed. Nice athmosphere.
