The Japanese-style rooms at Historical Ryokan Hostel K's House Ito Onsen are air-conditioned and come with traditional tatami-mat flooring. Most rooms enjoy beautiful views of the Matsukawa River. Spending time in this place was so amazing and comfortable. We rented the yukatas with my friend, so we felt like we were in some historical movie. The onsen was so private and cozy. It was one of the best places we've been in Japan. Also, there was a yummy place with the grilled meat near the hostel.

Very comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, quality toiletries, fantastic sauna, onsen, pool, phone chargers in every room etc. Relaxing place with Japanese flair. Fridge was prepared with soft drinks and beer.

Our special thanks goes to the very nice male staff who render his efficient services in table-setting for the many dishes of traditional Japanese cuisines, both for dinner and breakfast. He guided us the unique flavors of each type of food and the best way of eating with various sauces and condiments. He took the initiative to give us pamphlets about the sight-seeing spots nearby. We took his advice and did another hour of touring to learn more about Atami. It was a very hospitable and warming journey we had had with this hotel. Thank you for the very kind services of all the dedicated staff as well.

Hakone Checkpoint is 22 km from the ryokan, while Hakone Shrine is 25 km away. Location, view and facility are all pefect. Foor in general was good but could be better

Isoaruki no Yuyado Ushiogumo -6 years or older- features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Kawazu, 37 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. Guests staying at this ryokan have access to a balcony. Guests have access to a hot spring bath, public bath and open-air bath. Very comfortable stay with professional housekeeping management which gave us a glimpse into traditional Japanese onsen culture; the staff are very kind and helpful taking charge of everything ranging from meals to the onsen with meticulous care; the dinner was absolutely excellent: not only did they offer a great variety of Japanese cuisine but they did it in a magnificent way, serving every delicacy with great hospitality and professionalism.

The property is located 26 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, 33 km from Shuzen-ji Temple and 48 km from Mount Daruma. Lake Ashi is 28 km away and Hakone Open-Air Museum is 34 km from the ryokan. the owner so was cute and kind! although there was a language barrier, we were able to communicate and she gave us tips of things to do and see in atami. she also gave us a wee bag of snacks on departure and walked us up the street to say goodbye. the property was very comfy and we had a lovely stay!

Set 10 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu offers 5-star accommodation in Izunokuni and has a garden. Ideally located in the Izu Nagaoka Onsen district, this ryokan provides a terrace, as well as a hot tub. The ryokan offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi.
