Location couldn’t be any better- smack in the middle of the market and the temple. A little oasis there! The snacks and beverage station was a nice addition and the staff were super friendly.

Situated in Tokyo, 300 metres from Asakusa Fujiasama Shrine and 7.5 km from the centre, cyashitsu ryokan asakusa features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and an open-air bath. This 3-star ryokan offers a lift and full-day security. The ryokan offers a hot tub and luggage storage space. The best experience that we had on our trip to Tokyo. It was certainly the right call to book this ryokan for one of the last days in one of a more calmer districts of Asakusa. The customer service was exceptional and staying the night in a ryokan with a private onsen is something that we would never forget. Also the traditional Japanese breakfast is highly recommended.

The owner Mr Saito was very accommodating. He also provided us with everything that we need. We got snacks to eat for free and he is an amazing host. I love the facilities in the house and the toilet is one of a kind! The place is also near the subway and tourist spots. Walking distance from asakusa temples and shrines and also not far from Tokyo sky tree and sumida aquarium. Very convenient when you are travelling to and fro narita airport as the subway is only few minutes away that will take you directly at the airport.

The hospitality and personal service provided by the owners were amazing! They gave us great advice and tourist places to visit each day as we toured different districts within Tokyo. The place is comfortable, practical and within our budget. They offer free laundry, towels and snacks. They even provide umbrellas if it rains! The place is within walking distance to convenience stores and subway stations. We definitely would come back to stay here when we visit Japan again.
