We stayed 3 days at la Muñequita Lodge and it was just a wonderful experience. We have been very warmly welcomed by Heyner and his wife, they are both kind and are truly interested in people and sharing their culture. The place is so peaceful and true Costa Rican lifestyle in the middle of the goats, cows and chickens. Our Lodge was a big wodden cabina type with 2 separated bedrooms; filling and yummy breakfast are taken at Heyner and his wife's house where we can happily chat ans learn about nature, fruits they are growing... Also they offer dinner at their house as well if you want, we have eaten there the 3 nights we were there and the food was just delicious sharing the table with any other guests in the 2nd lodge. Our 2 kids 4 & 2 y.o loved being among the goats and cows and could feed them amd watch the milk so thank you Heyner and the whole farmer's team for taking the time to show us around... During the day you have couple of options, many parks around piernas blancas, corcovados or beaches playa de las Ventanas... We and the kids had an amazing time and can only recommend highly to stop by to have a true ans Unique Costa Rican experience.

We had a very nice time at Morpho House. Due to a last minute cancellation, we had to reserve the house on the very day and Valeria was quick to respond. She also sent us all the useful information. Having been welcomed personally on arrival, we also had a personal check out. There is everything you need in the kitchen as well as a pleasant sitting area. Besides, the bathroom and bedroom are spacious. Altogether, a very comfortable house in a quiet area: we would strongly recommend staying there.

The location was remote which made it so special, quiet and enjoyable. The home was immaculate and very comfortable. The facilities at the site were exceptional (swimming pool, ping pong, hiking trails, community garden...)

Relaxing break away. Great stop if your wanting to visit the World Heritage Costarican Spheres. George was an excellent host, giving us loads of info regarding the various archaeological sites which were nearby. Accommodation was excellent. Huge comfy bed, huge bathroom, great kitchen and a balcony we used a lot watching the Macaws in the trees overlooking a beautiful valley. Accomm can comfortably fit 4. Valles of OSA is on top of a hill with a driveway about 30m and easily negotiable in an AWD. We ended up extending our stay to 2 nights. You won’t regret staying here, the views are amazing, hospitality that was extended to us was exceptional and it was definitely value for money. We loved our stay. Do yourself a favour and don’t go past this accommodation!

The house is directly in the jungle with a wonderful view on the Sierpe forest. When the sky is clear it’s possible to see the Pacific. The House has everything you need to cook at home. Be aware that the place is accessible only by car and you need to take a boot, therefore it is suggested to organise your grocery before (in Palmar Norte where there is also the last available ATM). In case you would like to have an amazing dinner, Simone can prepare dinner for you. Simone organised for us a very nice tour in the Mangrove systems which was really worth it as we saw many wild fauna!

Top top top hotel. Marc is a fantastic host. His place is amazing. The pool is something. So confortable, peaceful and relaxing in the middle of the jungle. We had the chance to see a monkey familly. We highly recommand Marc place. Thanks a lot.

The combination of a fantastic location (in the middle of the jungle, with animals all around), excellent premises, and last but not least the World's greatest and most hospitable hosts (Gail & Brian) made this our first stay in Costa Rica truly unforgettable. We would love to come back someday, and now that we have done a lot of the "must do's" on the South Western Pacific Coast of the country, we might just take Gail up on her offer to join her yoga classes, or go for another crazy ride with Brian in his buggy to enjoy the abundant local waterfalls.

Our stay at this apartment was absolutely wonderful! The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped with all the amenities we needed. The location was ideal, conveniently close to the ferry dock. Our host, Adriana, warmly welcomed us and went above and beyond with her kindness and attention, even helping us resolve an issue with our laundry. There's an uplifted elegant energy throughout the grounds, from the security guard to the cleaning staff. Our two story unit smelled like rich wood. The layout was excellent design for safety, privacy, and super comfortable beds, chairs. AC was great in each bedroom, fans, curtains all clean and in great condition. The bathrooms lighting, hot water and linen quality were exceptional. It is worth mentioning that there we few mosquitos for Ojochal. The space is ample and well equipped for cooking or working remotely, even if there were several occupants. I could stay here long term. My 14 year relaxed. He enjoyed the pool, and commented on how intelligent the whole plaza was with a pharmacy, spa services, bar, store and restaurant all weaved together with hotel. We cannot say enough about the restaurant and we booked another night at end of trip because my son has to come back for more. Citrus is a gem. Families can relax and enjoy pool day, see many bird and plant species.
