I had a really great week. Here I would definitely come back. Drinking coffie in the morning on the terras, biking different trails right from the gite, reading in the quiet. The appartment has its own ecological mark, very very clean, it was smelling like I am in the woods. Very practical. The owners are very warm, open and respectful people. I got lots of information. We enjoyed a fantastic stay at La Retraite. The apartment is cosy and tastefully decorated, and Assignan is a nice quiet little village, more interesting than we expected. We very much appreciated the complimentary local products, especially the jam and bread, and the coffee, because there are a few fine restaurants in the village, but no cafés where you can have breakfast.
