I wasn't sure what to expect from this self check in hotel but everything worked fine. Although no staff available, the owner kept in touch to ensure I was ok. Big, clean room, bathroom and bed, facilities for cooking, etc. And great location

I really loved this place! Checking in was simple and easy. It was very easy to find and there was plenty of parking on the street out front. The place itself was just absolutely darling. It was very comfortable and had everything you could need. There were plenty of breakfast items provided too. The wifi was strong and there was an extender right in the sitting room which was easy to reset if needed. The hosts were wonderful, very quick to respond, and were helpful with everything needed. I ended up extending my stay as I enjoyed it so much and I can't wait to return!

Had an issue with the key and Paul came very very quickly to sort us out. King size bed, ahhhhh. Lovely bottle of wine on our arrival. Excellent service and friendliness of all the staff. This is an amazing complex, Spa, Wedding venue, cottages, best Pub, The Apple Inn. Do make a reservation if you want to dine there, it's very popular.

The house is in a perfect location for exploring the coast around Bamburgh & Seahouses, but in a very quiet country location, in a pretty village with a nice pub. Easy access to coast & puffin watching, but away from all the crowds at the end of the day. The beds were comfortable, the shower hot & the kitchen well appointed, all very clean. Parking just outside front door was useful (& open Tesla electric charging just minutes from property). We had a small issue but Northern Stays dealt with it quickly & professionally to resolve, & I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Thank you to the lovely Joy, & Alex. A very nice stay.

    Really good sized room overlooking the high street. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was done out nicely. We appreciated having the small kitchen area with fridge and coffee machine. Also, the toiletries were lovely. Access by door code was super efficient. Great location for exploring the area, and a number of bars and restaurants nearby.

    The apartment was very well decorated , a bit pink !!, and the bed was super comfortable, more than adequate space compared to a hotel room. The kitchenette was great with a Microwave ,fridge and freezer compartment ( which is not often included ) The bathroom was superbly fitted with nice tiles and floor, the shower was excellent, and powerful and hot, not lukewarm. ,It is a real game changer for me in the winter !! I would definitely make this a first choice if I return.to the area.

    Milo and Poppy were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and so were the flapjacks and cakes provided for us in the shared kitchen. The house is beautifully decorated and situated in stunning countryside. Our room had views of sheep and cows in the fields and the housemartins flying back and forth from their nests. We would definitely choose to go back if in Northumberland.

    Ideally located in the centre of Wooler with parking opposite (overnight) or just up the road in Padgepool Place Car Park (free up to 72 hours). Door access codes worked fine. Room was great size with seating, table and kitchenette too. Bed very comfy. Loved hearing the church clock chimes in the morning.
