We had great stay, nice farm stay, with staple Chiccken, sheep, 5+ horses, friendly dog and a cat Horse Gary was very friendly And next day morning my daughters had Horse riding lessons from Jes Property was surrounded by Farm lands and lovely view of Brandan hill Overall it’s absolutely brilliant stay we would love to go again

I booked Hemma Grove last minute and just for one night but it has left such a lasting impression. The farmhouse has been restored with extraordinary care and attention—every detail feels intentional, from the decor to the beautifully preserved character of the original building. Dee kindly accommodated our very late check-in on Friday night, which we were so grateful for. We had to leave early the next morning, but in that short time we were struck by how comfortable and calming the space is. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the large walk-in shower added a real sense of luxury. What stood out most was how the home honours those who lived there before—through carefully restored doors, artefacts, and design choices that feel respectful and considered. We were genuinely struck by the work that Dee and Billy have poured into this place. Everything has been thought of, and it shows. This is a place of great serenity, surrounded by trees and wildlife located beside Dee and Billy’s home. A very special place—one that needs to be experienced to be truly appreciated. Thanks so much.

An absolutely gorgeous little apartment with everything you need. The decor was beautiful and very well organised to make the most of the space. The bed was a so comfortable with a lovely soft throw for added comfort. There's even a patio with table and chairs for your morning coffee in the sunshine! Our dog loved it too. 🐶We would highly recommend the Cosy Nest! Perfect location in a very nice area of Kilkenny.

The location was ideal as a stop over on our road trip, there are lots of nice villages around and Kilkenny/ Waterford are near and the copper coast. The host Donal is lovely and came round to greet us. The log house was well equipped for what we needed and it was very comfortable.

    Perfect place to stay. Very clean, comfortable and great facilities. Very well stocked kitchen all you need to prepare a meal, excellent shower and spacious bathroom with lots and lots of hot water. Also a good range of TV stations and a great music system and last but not least a most comfortable bed. Michael and Sheila were both very welcoming and provided plenty of information on what to do in the area. I would highly recommend this property

    Lots of space with a nice kitchen, comfortable bed and lounge. Warm apartment with central heating and windows that bring in the sun. Private car park and close to so many lovely villages. The hosts are very welcoming and answered many of our questions, being new to Ireland. They also offered us a lift to a wedding we were attending. Perfect accommodation after a long flight from Australia.

    Outstandingly spacious and comfortable accommodation. The hosts couldn't have been more thoughtful and kinder, providing useful travel advice from the moment we had booked. Situated on the edge of Thomastown, it is an easy walk into the town where there are excellent bars as well as to good supermarkets for stocking up with essentials for self-catering. Thoroughly recommend.
