The stay in Casale Monte Valestra was an absolute treat. The breakfasts, the view, the room, the landlord - everything has been just perfect. It's quite, cosy and very well equipped. We can only recommend this place to anyone who considers stay with a family in a place that is not swarmed with tourists. Ideal location to do some trekking (some locations you need to drive to - but the view are worth it), a lot of local producers who have fantastic food (parmigiano reggiano, aceto balsamico and others). The recommendations of the landlord as to what to visit and do in the local area - priceless. Despite not ideal weather - this has been just perfect.

A very nice place to stay if you're looking to escape the noise and crowds of the city. The place is authentic, with very spacious rooms, a friendly owner, and I especially loved the cute little rabbits hopping around the yard ☺️
