We liked the small number of guests which made it feel intimate and easy to meet people. It felt very safe. It was close to the village and easy to access the local market which had good quality food options. The room was very comfortable and everywhere was super clean. He food options are very varied and the kitchen is equipped with everything needed.

Towels and bed linen are provided in the lodge. The cabin is very cosy and well equipped. We felt right at home. Only a few steps away from a lake with some chairs and a dock to relax or take a swim.

All our family loved it. We stayed here for two nights during our vacation in Quebec this year. Daniel and Denise gave us a warm welcome when we arrived late. They provided us with food for dinner and breakfast. So delicious. Most from their own garden. On the second evening they gave us a tour through their wonderful garden. We learned and tasted a lot. We would have loved to stay longer, but our route was already planned ahead. I recommend others to stay longer. Lac Saint-Jean and Fjord du Saguenay are easy to reach from here. I'm not a dog lover but was attracted by the price, location and great reviews. Incredible place. Very clean for starters - no dog hairs, e.g., on the inside, which I had been a bit worried about. And to my surprise I really loved THESE dogs - magnificent, strong animals but also well-behaved and gentle. They're obviously well-trained and well-treated. I almost didn't go on the morning walk, and that would have been a big mistake - it turned out (like for many people!) to be a highlight of my trip. I'd love to go back in the winter for the sledding. Also, as all reviewers rightly note, the owners are very friendly.
