Hotel Machalas is a large complex of apartments. It is located in Kipoi village which is in central Zagori. The complex’s traditional architecture is based on wood and hand-hewn stone.

Each apartment has its own individual style and décor that may include multicoloured Zagorian ceilings, heavy Persian carpets and traditional hand-made wood and iron furniture. The apartments are equipped with a fireplace, heating, a hydromassage shower or spa bath and an LCD satellite TV. We loved the location, decor, and ambiance of this jewel in the mountains. It’s an excellent spot to see several bridges within walking distance and to use as a base for driving to see other towns and bridges. The owners are lovely people who also have a restaurant across the street that offers dishes from the area. It will remain one of our fondest memories of Greece.

It is situated in western Zagori, in the village of Aristi. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The apartments are located on a beautiful complex right in the center of Aristi. They are very tastefully decorated and all have a terrace (some with a mountain view). The breakfast in the restaurant opposite was exceptionally good, plentiful and very typical of the country.

Very equipped place - lots of games for kids and family, which we loved, there's everything you need in the kitchen, several sofa beds. And even bicycle. The surroundings are amazing and there's a wonderful restaurant in the village nearby. Good place to stay if you want to travel to the zagoria area.

Alexis was very kind, gave us travel recommendations and helped us with everything we needed (even shared his phone charger with us for two days because we were stuck). Just note that the pool and jacuzzi in the pictures are not in the apartment itself, but in a separate area and for an additional fee.

First of all and most important the host are great!! helping and support for any request and question that we had, help to bring the suitcases to the house and leave some food for the first day. Thanks a lot! the location is great to go to hiking in the area and the house located close to the village center. exceptional view from the house. lots of facilities and everything that you need exist in the house. very comfort rooms and can have extra 2 places in the upper living room.

Dimitra is so nice and stoked the house with groceries and even came by specially from Ioanina just to bring us baking paper. The village is authentic and not touristic at all.
