The location was brilliant. Not too far out of Wexford town. We arrived after dark and the navigation wasn’t great, but we rang Aidan and he gave directions right to the gate. Beautiful surroundings and walks on the property.

Sunny Side - Self Catering Accommodation Gorey, a property with a garden, is situated in Gorey, 41 km from Altamont Gardens, 43 km from Mount Wolseley (Golf), as well as 43 km from Wicklow Gaol. The apartment also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The host met us at the gate and was very welcoming, showed us all around the property, explained everything, could not have been nicer. The property was spotless and very comfortable.

The bed and breakfast provides guests with a terrace, mountain views, a seating area, satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchenette with a dishwasher and a microwave, and a private bathroom with shower and a hair dryer. A toaster, a fridge and kitchenware are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the bed and breakfast, each unit includes bed linen and towels. We had a great stay at Mon Petite Cottage. We were greeted upon arrival and shown around the house. We were offered complimentary coffee and breakfast items. The cottage is unique, very cosy, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances (microwave, kettle, toaster, hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer). The electric shower in the bathroom works perfectly. The living room has a big tv. There are books, jigsaw puzzles and outdoor games available. There are two lovely outdoor seating areas, and the neighbourhood is quiet and peacful. The local supermarket has a good choice of groceries (we are vegan and had no trouble buying everything we needed), as well as other necessities. The location is perfect for visiting Ireland's Ancient East attractions, as well as a day trip to Dublin (about 1.5 h drive). Also, an EV charger is available!

The apartment itself was spotless and the owner was very communicative about check in instructions and even left them a lovely bottle of wine!
