It was great to stay warm and comfortable in cold Iceland. If I visit Iceland again, I would love to stay here again.

It did feel like we were in an industrial section of town but there was a hotel next door that had great food and service at the restaurant. I believe it was called Eyja.

Location: it is not in the middle of the city but it is great because it has ample free parkings outside the building. It is very convenient for us to load and unload our big luggages and the building has a lift. We drove to the city and park few hours when sightseeing. It's a walkable distance but during winter it was just too cold for us. It has eateries and a Bonus supermarket next door. Owner/manager: fast response. We communicate through this app and get fast prompt response. Though we booked few hours before check in, the apartment is ready, clean and self check in instruction is clear and easy to understand, easy to access. The locals living there are also nice and friendly. Facilities: washer and dryer available in common space. However we can't comment on details because we didn't use it. We just dry our small items in the house on the heated drying racks. Kitchen facilities are good, managed to cook with ease and the owner also left some basic seasonings and maybe items from previous guests. I like that they didn't throw away perfectly good items. We're able to use it as well.👍 The apartment is cozy and homely. Would stay again for future visit and stayed even longer. Very comfortable, feel safe and in summer maybe we can use the big terrace. The owner cares about the details because the plates and bowls and the vases are the nice ones.
