The room is very clean and fragrant, and has complete amenities in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It even has a washing machine that is easy to use. I also love the balcony - it has a great view of the train station. The staff are really nice. They communicate and respond well to questions. They even offered me extra bottled water when I requested for more. One of them also helped me with my luggage delivery even though he was on his break. The hotel is in a perfect location, just beside the bus/train station. There’s a FamilyMart nearby and everything is a short walking distance away. I really got my money’s worth. I would definitely stay here again! I had a lovely time.

We arrived after our chilly hike along the trail to a very warm and inviting traditional home. It was stocked with tea, coffee and drinks in the fridge, as well as some snacks. There were so many different areas to sit and relax in the home, we felt soo welcome and at home we did not want to leave. This was a stark contrast to our Air bnb we had in Kyoto where we felt we could not relax or enjoy the property. The sleepy town was fun to explore, the cafe next door was also very warm and welcoming filled with music and warmth. And the beds!! Being 6 months pregnant I was a little worried about the traditional futons on the floor but it was the best sleep I has the whole 3 weeks in Japan. I also appreciated the number of chairs for me to sit in. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay, we wish we could have stayed longer.

The accommodation is non-smoking. Like this place, clean and Japanese style tatami. The bathtub was great can relax, after a long day of walking. Owner was good prepared a book which consisted information about the town n food options.

A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also provided, as well as a kettle. The units include a desk. The house was beautifully renovated and well equipped. We spent a few days here in winter when outside temperatures were as low as -7°c, but we were warm and cozy inside, including in the bedrooms. We especially enjoyed the bathtub which faced out onto the snow-covered garden. Even though we had a car, the location was perfect to walk around the canals and old streets. The bento breakfast delivered every day was both gorgeous and delicious. We'll be staying again!
