The centrally located Pohutukawa Lodge is an 8-minute walk from Whangarei's town centre. It is 5 minutes' drive from Whangarei Events Centre and Toll Stadium (Semenoff Stadium). Whangarei Airport is a 15-minute drive away. Our room was immaculately clean and very comfortable!!!

Avalon, in a tranquil garden setting, offers self-catering cottages with free Wi-Fi and balconies overlooking the valley and the Puketotora River. It features a chemical-free outdoor swimming pool and spa facilities. Beautiful setting and very comfortable accommodation. Loved the spa and the natural pool. The bbq area was also really lovely. Our cottage was well equipped and we really enjoyed our stay.

I travelled solo, and it was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the tranquillity. The breakfast was simply delightful. It truly added a cosy and cheerful touch to my mornings. Every little detail has been carefully considered, making it feel just like home. The location is equally fantastic – surrounded by nature yet conveniently close to Kerikeri and Paihia. If you’re looking for a place to relax, enjoy comfort, and experience a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is absolutely worth a visit. I’d happily return again!

The living room, two beds and bathroom with showers in each room is beautiful and comfortable. In front of the house, there is a road and very calm. We stayed wonderful holiday.
