We were met by the wonderful Claudia who is the perfect hostess. Nothing was too much trouble right from the start. Property was immaculate shower shone like it was new. All the communal areas were spotless and the ski storage was purpose built with great boot warmers and drainage for the skis. Rooms were well stocked with all you need for a self catering vacation. Fresh bread was available for delivery daily. We were able to ski back to within 5m of the front door accross a non posted meadow. A short walk, about 100m down the road to a groomed pathway that you can ski down to the first lift of the morning. We spent a week here and have just returned today. Such an amazing place and plan on going back next year. Danke Claudia

I recently stayed at this hotel “Das Diellehen” and was thoroughly impressed. The property is impeccably clean and exudes a cosy, warm atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the fantastic host, who went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone seeking a delightful getaway while enjoying the fantastic view of the alps.

This accomodation is the most beautiful accomodation I have ever stayed at. The lodge is beautiful with high quality materials right through. From the moment we walked in we felt at home and felt we stayed somewhere tranquil and very special. The sauna and pool area are of top quality and sparky clean. It was just what we all needed after a day of skiing. The breakfasts each morning were beautiful full of all healthy and fresh foods. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our barman/waiter Yarrow was an absolute gentleman and delight. He remembered all our names and was always ready to serve us the best drinks in a warm and friendly manner. Such a great person. Anna was also helpful and friendly. She also made the best goulash we had ever eaten. We’ll definitely be back one day. Thank you to all the amazing staff for making our holiday to Wagrain so special.

Once again an amazing stay at this boutique hotel which is right by the ski sloops. Staff very friendly and attentive to their guests. Breakfast amazing. Dinner is great and would also recommend eating at is sister hotel which is less than a 10 min walk away. Great spa with 3 saunas (2 brand new this year)

I am extremely satisfied with my stay at Berggasthof Höllenstein. The hotel is situated in a stunning location, just 7 minutes away from the center. In my opinion, this is a unique place to stay, offering breathtaking views that you simply can't get down in the valley. I was warmly and graciously welcomed by the hostess, which made my experience even more enjoyable. The rooms are impeccably clean, modern, and equipped with everything you need.
