Extremely warm hospitality from the charming owner, who also helped greatly with local advice. The whole place was perfectly presented in every way, including the good- sized pool. I was staying at this hotel for two nights with my husband in July 2024. We got a free room upgrade at the check-in. The attic apartment that we got was amazing – spacious, with a sofa, big modern bathroom with mood lightning in the shower and the biggest highlight – two balconies – one of them with a front view and the other one oriented to a calm meadow belonging to the hotel. The staff was great, too. Everyone from the reception to the restaurant personnel was very nice. They always greet you when you run into each other anywhere in the hotel, have a small talk on how was your day or whether you need any advice on what to do and see in the surroundings. Yet, they were not intrusive in any way. The service they provided met the high standards – the room was cleaned while we were having breakfast, they served the meals at the restaurant smoothly without us having to wait, etc. We took the half-board for our stay. The breakfast was served in a buffet style with wide variety of pastries, cereals, fruits and some mashed/boiled eggs and sausages. Dinner was a four-course a-la-carte menu and you can pre-order the main dish in the morning. We very much loved the style in which the restaurant and the entire hotel were decorated – an elegant alpine chalet with many wooden details and lovely furnishing. In general, we loved our stay here, and would definitely some back.

We spent two weeks in Das Luis in August and we liked it there a lot. The hosts were very friendly, pleasant and helpful people. We could order fresh pastry which was put by our appartement door every morning. The town is small and nice, ideal place for families. There are both supermarkets and restaurants close to the accomodation. The location is great for various trips along Salcburgland area.
