This place is absolutely amazing! Located high in the mountains, the house is full of charm and character. It’s incredibly peaceful, with breathtaking views all around. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the sauna was fantastic — the perfect way to relax after a day outdoors. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and scenic getaway!

Well, that was just 1 overnight stay, I arrived late at night, while the owner was already sleeping and I have mistaken the appartaments, I took the larger one that I booked :) But there was no problem with that. Everything was clean and nice. This is the perfect location when you want to cross the Grossglockner the next day.

This is really a top hotel. Modern rooms with safe inside, closets and perfect bathroom. They are really nicely sound proofed and they brag with that. We did not have breakfast, but the reception and the bar/resturant were well visited, so I assume people liked it there. It was a single night stay, so we could not fully enjoy the experience, but I would come back anytime for certain.

Clean place, really nice scent, the rooms were cozy and cute. The best thing for us was the self-check-in device, we found it really useful given that we arrived pretty late at night. Also the assistance from the staff was quick, helpful and everyone was kind. Will surely come back!

Very friendly and family like atmosphere, the apartment itself was excellent. Very clean and well equipped. I'd highly recommend this to people who'd like to stay for a few day or more.

We booked one night at Ferienhaus Herrenschmiede for a quick stop during a road trip around Austria. Even though we arrived too late, Kim gave us all the facilities to enter the house without any problems. Ferienhaus Herrenschmiede is a very tastefully decorated house, with a great attention to detail in every corner. We were surprised by the number of amenities provided, with a wide range of possibilities for outdoor activities nearby, both in summer and winter. On top of that, after we found out we forgot a beanie at the house upon our departure, Kim very kindly offered to send it back to my address. All in all, highly recommendable accommodation in every aspects and we will surely make sure to come back if we get the chance.
