To be honest, the place was clean, wonderful, and very quiet. We and the children enjoyed the atmosphere of the real Swiss countryside, away from the crowds of the city. Mrs. Paula Natalia, the owner of the house, is very respectful. But you must be careful with children and not cause disturbance to local residents. The place is strategic because it is located between the city of Interlaken and the tourist village of Grindelwald and Lautabrunnen. It's close to all tourist places.

We were here in early Jan 2024 and this is an excellent hotel!! (sorry for the late review as we just got back from our travels) Excellent location, excellent staff, excellent room and facilities, and so close to groceries, the train station and bus stop. Especially grateful to Medaline (really sorry if I got the spelling wrong). You are so friendly and informative when we checked in and even helped me bring up 2 large heavy luggages to our room. No staff in any other hotel would have offered and actually helped. Thank you so much!! We decided to stay in Wilderswil instead of Interlaken, when we booked back in late July 2023, as it was only for 3 nights and nearer to the mountains where we would be spending most of our time. Best decision we made was staying here in Edelweiss Lodge and away from the main city (regretting now not having booked a longer stay here). The scenery from our room's balcony was fantastic and the room spacious in spite of the size of the hotel from the outside. Breakfast was exceptional (wifey really enjoyed every one of them :-) )!!! Will definitely stay here again!!!

It’s a original Swiss hotel , the staff is very friendly and helpful, the localisation it’s 10 min from the train station there is a bus 105 to take. For the breakfast is good. 10/10.

The rooms in the annex "ALPINE INN" are located only 5 walking minutes away from the main building, the JUNGFRAU HOTEL.

Lovely hotel! We were bit hesitant to some of the reviews but we’re glad it didn’t sway us! The staff were lovely. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We did not have the food there so cannot comment on that but everything else was excellent! Highly recommend staying here. Would also recommend getting a room with a view as we woke up every morning with exceptional views of the mountains! Was truly breathtaking. Nearest bus stop is 10 minutes walk and there is a shop which sells amazing cheese nearby! They also provide you with a free travel ticket throughout your stay to Interlaken and back which was super convenient.

Spend your holiday in one of the most beautiful areas of Switzerland!
