These classically decorated rooms are bright and colour, with wooden floors and wooden furnishings. Each room provides an en suite bathroom, and all rooms include a TV and some of them have balcony. The staff were friendly and spoke good English, the breakfast was delicious too! Also cleanliness was awesome !

All Rooms have balcony with a view. Some of the rooms have a direct view to Neuschwanstein castle. From the outside terrasse or in the large garden you have a beautiful view to the mountains and the castle. The lovely view from room, reception provided valuable suggestions (like how to be castle and ticket). It is a lovely place and would like to stay again next time.

During the winter months the area is ideal for skiing, with ski lifts 3 km from Hotel AlpinaRos. The popular Königssee Lake is 5 km away. The front desk is only open until 8 PM; afterward, you need to enter and exit through the back door. Encountered three different staff members at different times, one of whom has a lower proficiency in English, but overall, they are all very enthusiastic. The location is also very close to lively areas. The breakfast content and quality are excellent, worth coming back for.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains.

Farchant is an ideal staring point for hiking and skiing, with several skilifts within 9 km. Zugspitze (mountain) is 15 kilometers away and Eibsee (lake) is 15 kilometers away. Quiet location, but close to all the activities. Easy drive to Garmisch, Neuschwanstein, and Oberammergau. Very friendly staff! On our first night, we were welcomed with complimentary slices of homemade cake delivered to our room. Large breakfast buffet with lots of choices of meats, cheese, veg, fruit, pastries, pretzels, and eggs.

The non-smoking rooms come with soundproof windows, a flat-screen TV and private bathroom with shower and radio. Some rooms feature a balcony. They offer views of the Alps. This was my second stay at this hotel. The first stay was in October 2024. As usual, the staff was stellar. Every request and inquiry was acted upon with a cheerful smile and prompt efficiency. They delivered 100% especially when I needed it the most. The hotel is situated across the street from the Bad Reichenhall Bahnhof (train station). No worries since the hotel has excellent soundproofing. The public areas along with the room itself were immaculate. The bathroom had all the expected amenities including hair dryer, soaps and a towel warmer. The A/C runs well and can be adjusted. There is an Aldi supermarket and a store specializing in health products and cosmetics nearby. An Italian pizza restaurant is across the street (order the spinach and salmon pizza), and a Bavarian restaurant is a few blocks away. The Avalon is a family-owned and run business so you get that special attention you can’t get at a chain hotel. I highly recommend this property.

This family-run hotel offers free WiFi in all areas and rooms with balconies overlooking the Allgäu Alps. It stands in a quiet residential area of Füssen, a 15-minute drive from the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles. What an amazing place to stay at. We were on a European tour traveling on a motorcycle and it was very hot when we arrived. We were greeted with an ice refreshing lemon drink on checking in. The owner said to put my Motorcycle in their garage. The room was absolutely amazing. My wife loved the room which was pristine, A nice balcony that we sat on in the evening enjoying drinks from the mini bar. Would definitely stop again. Breakfast was beyond belief. The presentation and quality was amazing. If you are ever in the area definitely stop here
