All staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. We were given a welcome drink and a delicious freshly cooked breakfast.

Everything! If you are planning to take a bus to visit linderhof or the neuwanstein castle, ask the staff about the visitor pass and all the bus fees are free! Location: When you get off from the train station, turn right and keep going straight for 5 mins, and you will see the hotel!

All Rooms have balcony with a view. Some of the rooms have a direct view to Neuschwanstein castle. From the outside terrasse or in the large garden you have a beautiful view to the mountains and the castle. The hotel is beautiful and in the perfect location for visiting Neuschwanstein Castle. We had a suite with a wonderful view of the castle. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent underground parking garage.

Hospitality – Staff throughout the hotel—from check‑in to housekeeping—exceeded every expectation. Breakfast experience – A wide and tasty buffet, prompt service, with hot dishes prepared on request made for an energizing start to each day. Ideal for short stopovers – I originally planned this as a two‑night rest to avoid a long drive after a flight. While I didn’t have time for the spa, its generally praised 1,000 m² wellness area shows just how full a longer stay could be. Impeccable cleanliness – I hold very high standards for hygiene; the room and public areas surpassed them entirely.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains.

Farchant is an ideal staring point for hiking and skiing, with several skilifts within 9 km. Zugspitze (mountain) is 15 kilometers away and Eibsee (lake) is 15 kilometers away. The lady at the reception is super sweet, very very friendly, kind and joyful. And then is the cook of the Gasthof, very friendly man and the schnitzel sandwich he gave us as welcome was perfect because right after that we hit the mountains just before sunset. The breakfast is amazingly good (please don't miss their self-made marmelade, cake and yoghurt), and we also had the opportunity to meet another member of the staff who also was super friendly and kind. The place has a beautiful decoration and the room is spatious, clean, the place is very quiet, and the bed comfortable.

This family-run hotel offers free WiFi in all areas and rooms with balconies overlooking the Allgäu Alps. It stands in a quiet residential area of Füssen, a 15-minute drive from the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles. The hotel was very clean and new, the breakfast experience was amazing, beautiful room with many windows, a wonderful hostess and great food. Our room was also excellent, nice mattress very clean and quite.
