Breakfast was absolutley brilliant. Location is really great, close to the train station. Very clean and very modern. New rooms!

During the winter months the area is ideal for skiing, with ski lifts 3 km from Hotel AlpinaRos. The popular Königssee Lake is 5 km away. That is definately one of the best hotels I have lately stayed! Very comfortable, staff super nice and helpfull, everything thought through to the smallest details. The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains.

Farchant is an ideal staring point for hiking and skiing, with several skilifts within 9 km. Zugspitze (mountain) is 15 kilometers away and Eibsee (lake) is 15 kilometers away. The hotel itself is cozy, comfortable, clean and furnished in a unique, I would say traditional style. The host - owner of the property was very friendly, outgoing and welcoming. We loved everything about our stay there and we would recommend the hotel 10 out of 10 times.

The hotel is designed beautifully, the staff were really kind and friendly, especially Emanuel and Frank. There was a wide variety of facilities for both adults and children.
