The room we were originally in did not have functioning AC. The onsite staff member (Victoria) was quick to move us into a new room to ensure we were comfortable for the remainder of our stay. She was very pleasant and helpful. After our stay, we required a detailed invoice and the owner of the villa was kind a d quick to answer our request. The facility itself was beautiful, comfortable and clean. There was lots to do within the grounds and a decent breakfast every morning. Highly recommend!

For guests with children, Althea Etna Garden offers kids pool, an indoor play area and outdoor play equipment. Skiing and cycling can be enjoyed nearby, while a bicycle rental service and ski storage space are also available on-site. The host Ruben went out of his way to be helpful and speaks very good English. The location is excellent, just minutes to the main road and bars and restaurants, yet it's very quiet and peaceful at the property. Very nicely appointed. Would recommend without question.

The area is popular for skiing and cycling, and bike hire is available at Locanda Milia Etna. The unique athmosphere, the luxury mixed with down to earth vibe and most of all : lovely personelle. This is one of those hidden gems that will stick to you. I tell everybody about this place who are going to Sicily. The wine cellar is cooled by the natural temperature there, built into the rocks. The restaurant has amazing food. They have two tame foxes😍 All day long you can hear to boulder from mother Etna, and we were lucky to see lava eruption when we were there in July. I also think this place is wonderful in any season. All the details makes you wonder around, hammocks outside. Fresh food and snack. It’s up in the mountain so the air is fresher than on the beach. I loved it here- I loved the energy. I really got to relax.

A toaster, a fridge and stovetop are also provided, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the apartment complex, every unit has bed linen and towels. Absolutely immaculate, very up to date and modern. Hosts were exceptional in going above and beyond to meet all our needs (e.g. hot, fresh-baked croissants every morning), plenty of snacks, coffee and fruit, etc. We stayed in seven different locations and it was by far our favorite!

Set just 50 km from Taormina Cable Car - Mazzaro Station, Il Caveau dell'Etna offers accommodation in Nicolosi with access to a terrace, a bar, as well as a minimarket. The property has city and inner courtyard views, and is 50 km from Mazzaro Beach. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Catania Piazza Duomo is 16 km away. Great location and the host and family were very friendly and helpful.

Highly recommended, will definitely come back.

Located 30 km from Mazzaro Beach, Il Casale di Monacella offers ski-to-door access, pool with a view and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a patio. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. This was by far the best accommodation me and my girlfriend ever had! It is a very calm and remote destination under the beautiful Etna park where you can relax to the highest level. I recommend a car for this stay since it is a starting point for many trips and you can use a car for grocery shopping too. Each one of the rooms is beautiful, new and well equipped! Each room has its own outside area where you can have breakfasts or dinners. The pool is magnificent. It offers the view of the whole resort and it feels like being somewhere completely else. To anyone considering this stay, either couple or family, I highly recommend it! And do not let me forget to mention Monica, the owner and facilitator. She is one of the nicest, kindest and friendliest owners I talked to ever. Communication with her is excellent, she replies days and nights and tries her best to meet your needs. Guests at Dove nasce il Sole B&B will be able to enjoy activities in and around Nicolosi, like skiing, cycling and walking tours. If you would like to discover the area, pub crawls is possible in the surroundings. Ideal location for exploring Etna. 20 minutes by car to Rifugio Sapienza. View to Etna from the terrace. Very responsive and helpful hostess. The room was clean and tidy. The terrace was ideal for breakfast and supper. If you plan to visit Catania from Nicolosi, consider driving to "Parcheggio Scambiatore Due Obelischi", and then using bus BRT1.

Our room was amazing with a view to Ionian Sea. In the area there is a great pool. As you are near the pool and look towards the east you can see the Ionian Sea and as you turn around you can see Etna. About the view to Etna I have to say it's the best viewpoint to Etna that we experienced during our stay in Sicily (perfect distance to see the form, but not too far). The area of the Villa is amazing and walking along the beautiful path in garden is what relaxation is about. Hosts were hospitable and helpful. Breakfast was superb, with fresh blood orange juice, warm bread and much more. In our room we had great bathroom and good amount of space, plus we would like to highlight comfortable mattress and pillows. One thing that we regret is that we booked it only for one night!
