Guests are provided with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Well maintained, clean and has all you need for your stay. The electric fireplace was awesome. Would definitely recommend this property.

The property is non-smoking and is set 16 km from Taranaki Falls. The location was very nice, The owner cooperated to get back the wristwatch that he left there. I want to compliment them on their support.

The highest hotel in New Zealand, Skotel Alpine is 10 minutes’ drive from the Whakapapa Ski Fields. Tongariro Alpine Crossing is 20 minutes’ drive away. This is my second visit to this resort. Love it. Best location if you come to explore the Alpine. The starting point of the Tongariro circuit and other tracks are just at the door. Room is comfy and clean. The bar is very nice with stunning view.

A daily, shuttle service is available hourly from 6:00 until 9:00 to the Tongariro Crossing & National park. Free parking is available. Ski storage space is available on site and skiing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Great location. A good restaurant bar is just across the property and a convenient store is about 100m away. The location is also near trekking sites. Guest services are great! I highly recommend this motel.

Set in National Park, Mountain Heights Lodge offers six self-contained motel units and four ensuite B&B rooms, BnB rooms welcomes children over the age of 14 and above. Private parking is free.

The nearest airport is Taupo Airport, 78 km from Mountain Heights Lodge. The hostess was accommodating and cheerful. The room was clean (a bit worn), and functional. It is located about 15 minutes from the National Park. When our track was rained out they were able to accommodate us again on short notice!
