Stunning hotel, great attention to detail with every aspect well thought through. Plenty of storage space in the rooms, gorgeous pool area, easy location shirt tuk tuk away from town but the thing that really made it was the lovely staff, everyone is extremely accomodating and happy to help. Special mention to the bartenders Yibran and Fabricio who were excellent. Also the owner Tim was lovely and made sure everyone was well looked after. Thankyou!

We really enjoyed our stay at the resort. It was tranquil and felt truly authentic, right in the heart of the jungle. We could hear all kinds of wildlife around us, which made the experience even more special. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. At the breakfast time we've had a lot of meal choices. Like, omelette, local fruits, fresh and healthy energisers. The beach was incredible, with clear water and a pleasure to have a morning walk. All the daily activities we're very relaxed and pleased to practice it. Room exceeded my expectations, all white, clean, room staffs are very responsive. In general, Le Cameleon is well placed. Amazing place to stay! We loved our room (upper floor room) with a hammock and nice view over the garden. The resort area is very green and we could see cute agouties running around. Massage in spa was exceptionally good! Stuff was very helpful and welcoming. We tried also sushi restaurant and it was also really good. Location is nice: the beach is just across the street, plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. 20 min walking to the supermarket and about 30-40 min to the town (or 5 min with Uber). We could also rent a bike if we stayed more nights at the hotel. The hotel offers also some activities like yoga classes, but we were too lazy to attend)). The breakfast was a pleasant surprise: good options (eggs, fruit, yoghurt, pancakes and a lot more). To sum up, we really enjoyed staying at the resort. I was surprised that it’s only 3 stars. I think it’s worth much more.

The breakfast was awesome, plenty of options to choose, all the ones we tried we liked. The qty is more than enough and they did go the extra mile with my 3 year old to offer something out of the menu that he would like. The room was spacious and clean.

The lodge is beautifully located in a large, dense forest. Each house has in the front a porch with a sofa and hammock, a large living/sleeping area inside, and an enormously big bathroom with a shower. As the houses are open with no windows but anti-insect nets, so you live and sleep immersed in the jungle outside. The experience is outstanding! You can hear birds signing in the morning and howlers howling in the night ;) There are multiple paths you can walk around the property and spot different animals and birds. The beach can be easily accessed through the gate and across the street in 5 min. walk. Breakfast is served in the restaurant in the open air space and is a costarican variation of continental breakfast. It is tasty and plentiful. The staff is very helpful, proffesional and engaged, both at the front desk as in the restaurant.

    The property is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and very clean; the air con is amazing after a long day at the beach! The pool is incredible and the breakfast options were delicious. WiFi was perfect. There was a virus going around while we stayed and it was the perfect place to be while sick - cool, quiet, relaxing!

    We loved the hotel because it was very cosy and the staff was just absolutely brilliant. They were kind, thoughtful and smiling ! so rare ! Well done ! We loved the pool, watching our favorite Netflix show on the tv while relaxing in the jacuzzi. We loved the breakfasts and the massage table ! We recommend this hotel. Bathroom and toilets are also clean and perfect.
