Loved the friendly staff, fantastic breakfast options and large bedroom with nicely finished ensuite. Great location, a short walk up to the town centre. Onsite parking was good also. We would definitely stay here again.

The decor was perfect the views from our room where even better. The room was roomy and we had a bath which I loved. We were very pleased to have a fan in our room. The pool, sauna and relaxation areas where wonderful. It's a little confronting as an Australian to not wear swimmers in the sauna but we used our towels to feel comfortable. Highly recommended a stay here.

We really enjoyed the hotel and the city. It was perfect for us. The hotel is very pleasant, the staff is kind and helpful. The family room is spacious and very comfortably organized. There were five of us and we didn't feel crowded. The beds and linens are excellent, the air conditioning is very quiet. A spacious and pleasant shower. Varied and delicious breakfast. The city is also very pleasant and we enjoyed walking around it.

Enjoy Bavarian tradition in a family atmosphere at 850 meters above sea level.

Extraordinary services and facilities, own restaurant, bar, coctails, wellness area with sauna and steam bath with resting rooms around, free tea, etc. Breakfast was plenty, and a lot to choose from, including such extras like smoked salmon and trout, freshly baked buns, etc. Location is just a few hundred meter away from the Austrian border - rather quiet surrounding, but the next bigger town Berchtesgaden is a good 10 if not 15 minutes by car. Room has minibar, extra bath towels and bathrobes are provided for the wellness/bath area.

Klosterhof – Alpine Hideaway & Spa in Bayerisch Gmain is set at the foot of the Reichenhaller mountain range, just a 15-minute drive from Salzburg.

Truly a beautiful hideaway.. very stylish hotel with fantastic helpful staff! The spa area has a complete offering and all brand new in appearance! 1st class.. The surrounding countryside is stunning.. highly recommend this hotel. Martin on reception was very helpful and Alexandra in the restaurant had us laughing and so nice .. Food was just the best they did a BBQ our evening the terrace has wonderful views. Hopefully return one day!
