Fabulous setting and approach, with splendid main building and separate annex, exceptionally well refurbished stone buildings, with a welcoming open log fire in the hall of the main building. The breakfasts and evening meals are excellent quality and menu, seating in the restaurant gives splendid view over the gardens and beyond. As well as golfing, there are very enjoyable walking opportunities.

    The hotel is extremely modern and spotlessly clean. The swimming pool and spa areas are stunning and so relaxing. Breakfast choices were great and food was always warm and tasty. Staff were extremely polite and friendly in all of our interactions.

    As soon as we arrived it felt very cosy and welcoming. We got checked in swiftly and provided with lots of useful information. We were staying in a privilege room which was beautiful. It was very spacious which was great. I requested a room with a bath if possible and we got one which was perfect. We went to use the pool around supper time hoping it would be quiet and there were only 2 other people there which was ideal to make it feel relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and we caught it at a quiet time which was nice.

    Wonderfully polite helpful staff very welcoming!! The room was immaculate cozy and spacious. We had a meal at night in the restaurant absolutely delicious, and the pool and spa was lush, the low lighting adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The pool was so clear I didn't think there was water in it when I entered the room lol!! Sauna, steam room and jacuzzi all open. Was a truly wonderful stay can't wait to go back

    Check in very easy and quick. Room very comfortable, clean and quiet. Buffet breakfast good, with good selection of cooked food. Spa and pool also very good, not very busy, clean and tidy. Unfortunately sauna was not working
