Lovely family run hotel with historical significance, commissioned by Cosimo I of Medici who was the Grand Duke of Tuscany, and part of a Renaissance fortified town. The hotel was in a valley surrounded by the beautiful hills of Romagna. The lady owner was very friendly and she and her son chatted with us on the terrace. She also gave us a lot of information about the castle's history. The breakfast was great, we could see she has made huge effort to prepare the amazing breakfast.

Receptionist was welcoming and friendly. Booked a double room and ended up with a suite. 3 twin beds in one room and large super king in the other. Very comfortable and clean. Good choice at breakfast including hot and cold food.

This small hotel was a delightful place to stay. The staff were very welcoming, the breakfast was great and we had the perfect relaxing stay that we were looking for. We also ate out at the restaurant connected to the hotel, Trattoria La Casetta which was very good too.
