The Linsberg Asia Hotel, Spa & Therme is an adults-only 4-star superior hotel in Bad Erlach featuring a spa area with an outdoor and 3 indoor saunas, 2 hot tubs, and a pool with an Asian garden. It also offers free and direct access to the public Linsberg Asia thermal spa. Extremely kind staff on the reception as well as restaurants. All meals were very delicious but we also ordered a’la card dinner and this was really exceptional. We strongly recommend this experience. Comfortable beds with folding roller which made this also sofa and a very sensational “friend” :)

Cozy cottages with a stunning view of the lake and surrounding mountains. The perfect place for a quite and peaceful getaway from the city. From the cottage there are several hiking trails you can choose from, and within a 10min drive you can get on the Salamander train to reach the top of the Schneeberg. The cottage itself was very clean, and there was even firewood available to make a cozy fire in the evenings. The restaurant has reduced opening hours because we were there off-season, but we very much enjoyed our dinner there as well. We will be back for sure!

Room with balcony and mountain view. Small room, but the balcony was appreciated. You must eat there; the food is excellent, worthy of a great chef. Sophisticated table service. Quiet room. Large, very pleasant pool. Parking in front of the hotel. Breakfast with a wide selection.

You can play billiards at this 4-star hotel, and the area is popular for hiking and skiing. Overall a great place, which still looks like in its glory, a hundred or so years ago. Mainly a seminar hotel, but happy to receive individual guests. Easy train ride from Vienna 70 min to Payerbach-Reichenau. From there the hotel offers transport, or alternatively walk 20-30 min along Schwarza river (avoid the Main Street). Indoor pool. Good breakfast in impressive historic dining room. Lunch and dinner options. Friendly staff. Good price-quality relation. (The hotel, while very nicely renovated, is not necessarily luxury, at least the parts that I’ve seen.) Good hiking options in and around Reichenau.
