The room was clean and spacious with a great ocean view. The air-conditioner worked perfectly throughout the night. The free breakfast buffet was relatively simple but delicious and filling with a variety of Japanese and western foods to choose from. The hotel is extremely close to Miyajima Port, making it convenient for those travelling from the island at night or wanting to leave for the island early in the morning.

The spacious large room .. the view .. the facilities in the room and at the Hotel .. the Restaurant was great and service A1 .. Breakfast was delicious .. Bar was good at night too .. food and service there also A1 .. the laundry was good .. ice machine always worked .. the location of the Hotel absolutely ideal

The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the traditional Japanese breakfast too. They offered us a shuttle to the ferry terminal for free which was very convenient given getting there walking with the suitcases is not ideal.

We had a beautiful and spacious room, it was nice to have dinner and breakfast included and the common room was nice too.

Incredible location and views of the mountains and famous floatong torri gate. Short walk from the ferry pier. Spacious room with comfortable traditional Japanese bedding Friendly staff who were happy to assist with luggage storage Breakfast option available, very handy because nothing really opens until 9am on island. The public bath was nice and relaxing after a big day of hiking and sightseeing

Loved the private onsen with the view of the shrine. The hotel was very grand and our room with the view was so spacious and pretty. The restaurant staff were lovely. and the food delicious although mostly seafood which i didnt mind.. The shuttle to the town was handy also.We has tea and red bean snack in our room (provided) which was nice. Relaxing stay in a grand hotel.

The position is absolutely TOP, right in front the ferry pier. 1 min to get there. Literally. Liked the clean and spacious room. Bed comfortable and overall sound isolation is good. Great buffet breakfast

Delicious food was served for dinner and breakfast. We had a big apartment on the top floor with an amazing relaxing bathtub, a great view of the famous tori, and a beautiful living and sleeping room. We even booked 30 min private hot tub.

Everything was perfect. Japanese style bedroom, very spacious and comfortable with a sea view. Even though, you could not see the famous Tori gate from the bedroom, the view was still amazing and so relaxing to wake up to. Breakfast was served for 500 yen upon reservation and was nice to have. Definitely recommend staying here.

Very luxurious room, complete with a tatami space for relaxing, watch TV, drink some tea (cups, saucers and tea bags provided). Great facilities, including both indoor and outdoor public onsen, free short guided tours in the evening or early morning, and even free bus trips to/from the harbour if you're carrying large luggage. There is a restaurant for dining (breakfast and dinner options) but I didn't use as I did not pre-book in advance.
