Pucci house is a lovely, small guesthouse with pretty gardens and in a residential neighbourhood not far from shops and eateries. Alex was a very attentive host, gave me tips for the area and organised transportation back to the airport. I found Jua room really comfortable and furnished to a high spec, overlooking the communal gardens. A lot of care has gone into the design and furnishings of the guest house. Breakfast was simple and nicely prepared by a lovely woman in the property. Having both an overhead fan and AC was really great as the heat is quite something in Watamu! Buffet and continental breakfast options are available at AHG Lion Beach Resort. Staff was very helpful and food was amazing (especially sea food and grill). Location is great. Good thing is that they served a variety of food items and yet zero wastage. All staff members were so good - reception, animators, grill chef (one of the best squids I had), pasta chef, bartenders, aqua gym, helpers, hotel manager… everyone.

The accommodation features room service, and currency exchange for guests. This place iMawe Zuri is a pearl. I appreciated the friendliness and hospitality of all the staff. This is a peaceful haven with a very appeasing sea view, which I was able to enjoy from the restaurant every day, both morning and evening. The restaurant's menu is delightful. I reccomand to try the mango shrimp and rice. There are also has a spa with massage offers, à gym and swimming pools. If you prefer the white sand ans wave Mawe is close to the beach. Bonus : and they can help you organising your excursions with a local guide and airport transfert from Mombasa and Malindi.

A little far removed from restaurants/shopping and such, but that is kinda what I wanted so was very good for my needs. I answered no regarding the question above "Did the price I paid match the expectations I had when I booked". I answered no because the facility far exceeded my expectation. I felt it was a very good value.
