Being near national parks, we had the opportunity to explore the stunning natural beauty of Sri Lanka up close. And with Sirigiya just a short drive away, the convenience of exploring this famous cultural landmark was great. The property itself is quiet, beautiful, and peaceful. Surrounded by lush greenery and offering a serene ambiance, it's the perfect place to unwind and relax. I highly recommend staying at Manike Lodge for anyone looking for a truly relaxed experience in Sri Lanka.

The area is popular for cycling and fishing, and bike hire is available at this 1-star homestay. If you would like to discover the area, hiking and walking tours are possible in the surroundings and the homestay can arrange a car rental service. Jeewa, Masha and Oleena are absolut delights. The place is located in a quiet part of habarana, very calming and relaxing with trees, flowers, birds. The rooms are big and convenient. And the best is the hospitality of the hosts, and how Jeewa helped me plan my days, always with the best experiences and best prices. I LOVED staying there. I will for sure go back if I come again to sri lanka !!

Staying at Sweet Home Tourist Rest turned out to be one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Sri Lanka. It’s rare to find a place that offers both great value and a truly personal touch , but this one does exactly that. Instead of just a room, we had an entire private apartment, including a comfortable living room, which gave us so much space to relax. It was quiet, clean, and located in a peaceful part of town, making it easy to rest and recharge between our adventures. And considering the price, it felt like an absolute steal. What really made this stay unforgettable were the authentic experiences arranged by the hosts. Nilukshan helped us explore some of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sites with thoughtfully organized tours, the Wilpattu safari was stunning, and our visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale gave us a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and history. Everything was well-timed, smooth, and stress-free. We also had the chance to join a Sri Lankan cooking class with Malsha, which ended up being one of our favorite memories. The class was fun, hands-on, and filled with flavor, we left not just with full stomachs, but with recipes and techniques we can take home with us. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, if you want comfort, authenticity, and connection this is the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

The owner and his family, the food, the services, the garden and the cleanliness. Even though the property is a bit away from the main road, we were always provided with transportation as and when required at a very good price. They also helped arrange the village tour and Minneria Safari at a competitive price. Always willing to sort out things for you, you just have to mention something and they would be able to arrange it for you.

The hospitality was top-notch—friendly hosts, delicious food, and great attention to detail. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions like Sigiriya and Minneriya National Park. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique and tranquil stay in nature. Can’t wait to return!

The bungalow is amazing too, a comfortable and beautiful place in the middle of nature with a private pool - we enjoyed a lot! I highly recommend!
