Mr. Gerardo was able to meet us at 5 am to check us in as we were driving and took longer than expected to get there. He made sure we were comfortable and let us rest after we got there. He was so nice to my son who even cried once it was time to leave as he got super attached to him. We stayed there 3 nights and Mr. Gerardo made sure we had an amazing time there. We plan on coming back soon with the rest of my family, I know we will have an amazing experience once again.

The villa also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Traveling from Vail, Colorado to meet my family at this incredible spot was an absolute delight! We had a blast enjoying the pool and the lovely inside of the house. Plus, the 24-hour security at the entrance gate gave me great peace of mind. The location is fantastic – super close to the Acapulco airport, as well as amazing dining and shopping options for some fun adventures outside. The beautifully manicured landscape was a feast for the eyes! And let’s not forget our wonderful host, Mr. Angel, who is always dedicated to enhancing the property. I can’t wait to return in the fall to the breathtaking “Hummingbird Acapulco”! It's going to be amazing!

In the room Wifi is available with a extra cost. Traveling from the Hotel Zone in downtown IXTAPA, to get to Azul Grande is on beautifully groomed and clean road. After checking into assigned room, the management called in no time to ask if we like everything or need anything. Azul Ixtapa Grande is a SPOTLESS resort. I was very impressed with their immaculate landscaping, full of flowers. We used mainly the infinity pool, while that one has the best views of the ocean. I believe that pool should be an adult only and existing adults only for kids. That pool it takes much longer to get sun, better for kids' skin. Kids do not care for views. Pool service was working constantly serving drinks 11am-6pm. There is no food around pools. Elevators on the property are in 3 stages. They can take ADA persons comfortable and safely, even with wheelchair, right to the beach. Beach is swimmable and safe. All the staff was super friendly. They have many uniforms, with great designs and always clean. There are plenty employees working all day around for the comfort of guests. The beach has picturesque walking corridor to get to the other Azul Resort. Azul Grande guests can visit that resort to eat, swim and get entertained. The guest from there cannot visit Azul Grande. In the middle of the walk path is a fun restaurant. Oyster Bar, it needs booking in advance. We loved the Blackened Fish and the magnificent sunset. There is NO smoking anywhere on the resort property. Smokers must go to the beach. Employees are watching and reminding to the offenders. Azul Grande has 3 themed restaurants, all are good. Buffet was limited to amount of food, but every dish was good. The amount of food at the buffet depends on the amount of people visiting the hotel at that time...makes sense to me. My highlight was a Catch of the day, a Pop-Up restaurant above the water, for lunch. The fish was "soooo" fresh. We have not seen many dogs in the resort, if then, mainly little dogs. No dogs were at the pool area, I was afraid to see that.

The rooms are massive, the bed is like sleeping in a cloud, the pillows too… the property is beautiful and so so well kept ! Everything is spotlessly clean and comfortable, the Wi-Fi is fast and even when there is bad weather or a storm the Wi-Fi was perfect! There are turtles and parrots there too and the parrot actually waved goodbye to us on our last day !! The location is the best in zihaut , it was our first time in zihaut didn’t know really where is the best area to stay in but I can tell you now it’s right here ! Directly on the beach, 7 min walk into town where you can find really authentic and quality restaurants! There are lots of English channels on the tv, fresh bottled water every day, excellent aircon, amazing views The ladies that do the housekeeping, they don’t leave a stone unturned and the room was always pristine every day for us ! I can’t speak highly enough about this hotel and the staff that work there ! Thank ye all for working so hard to make our time there so perfect and enjoyable! We will definitely be back
