Fantastic stay at Palacio Manco Capac. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely special so close to the inca ruins and living in a part of history is really extraordinary. Exceptional breakfast with fresh fruits - try the bananas and avocados if you can, you wont regret it. This is a place that is a bit off the beaten path and as such for people looking to get away from the busy life and enjoy the quiet and beautiful views over cusco will love this. I was unfortunate to get ill before coming to cusco / completely unrelated to my stay but the staff was so helpful in allowing us to extend for a few days and helping me to eat in the room when I was not feeling well. The setting of the hotel is wonderful, just off the main square but so peaceful and relaxing. The beautiful gardens with the hammocks offer a great space to relax. It is only a short walk to the main ruins complex. The entrance to the ruins on Pinkuylluna, opposite the main site, are along the same road as the Lodge which was great. Breakfast was excellent the best omelette we had during our stay in Peru. A really lovely place to stay - highly recommended.
The space is great and relaxing! They have a fair price and it is super well located (just one block from the main plaza of the city) All the staff were super sweety to us... Sarit, Gaby, Suly and also the breakfast girls. They rock!
A great stay with outstanding service by the staff. Not luxury but everything was very comfortable, comfy beds, good heating, hot showers, plus lots of little extras like free tea, filtered water, a sunny garden to relax in and the best hotel breakfast we’ve had in Latin America. Highly recommend.
Ideal location 1 minute from the main square. Huge shared area to relax in. Good breakfast with fruit, bread and eggs cooked to order. Staff helpful. Spacious, light room
A very well refurbished old Spanish Colonial villa with lovely courtyard and centrally located in excellent quarter of old Cusco. Room/bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and lazy :-) and the reception staff extremely helpful. A big thank you to Judy for a truly wonderful massage.
This location is actually a working Monastery and school. I saw Nuns and children quietly coming and going in the mornings which was actually a high light for me. This hotel is directly next to The Church of San Pedro and across the street is a large outdoor market with everything you can imagine. A good walking distance to city center, museums, churches and fine dining. Breakfast was good, a nice selection. The massages at the spa were very nice for the price.
The place is amazing with a kitchen and common space. The rooms are super comfortable and the breakfast is also sufficient. We liked the place, because it’s more in a quiet part of the city. We felt very welcomed and stayed longer as we planned because it was very relaxing there.
The location of this hotel is fantastic being just above the main square. It’s set up very similar to a traditional Spanish hotel with rooms around 2 courtyards. It was clean the showers were hot and the breakfasts served by Epi were awsome. I liked the quirkiness of every different room being and oddly shaped. It’s a world away from a business hotel but still manages to deliver a great stay. Ps get ready with your “ No gracias” as you will be offered either a massage or food at least 20* before you hit the main square.
