There is a lovely warm welcome from the moment of check in to the moment of check out. The staff in the breakfast room are very kind and provide everything needed for a very enjoyable breakfast. It is situated just a few minutes walk from the bus terminus, which makes it easily accessible from Lisbon. We were joined by our son and his family for one night as they were travelling to Porto for their flight home. They had a beautiful room which was very large with a luxurious bathroom. They are looking forward to going again. Alcobaça is a very relaxing place with gorgeous restaurants and delicious food. I would highly recommend Montebelo Mosteira. I’m already looking forward to a return visit. Thank you all very much for making our holiday a wonderful experience.

All the staff were outstanding in helping with our trip to this marvelous location in such a serene area of Portugal. My only regret is we did not arrange to stay in the hotel longer. Super help from our server for supper. John our server not only made our evening feel very special but he also made some wonderful suggestions for the rest of our trip including somewhere to find some cheese that we enjoyed with our supper. We both found the cod main course splendid. Your staff made this short stay for us feeling relaxed and ready to continue our journey.

De Viseu rooms have parquet floors and modern furnishings. They are air-conditioned and feature a minibar, electric kettle and a flat-screen TV. Some rooms feature spacious furnished balconies with panoramic city views. Charming historical building mixed with modern design. Gym and spa were great too, and the hotel has a beautiful art gallery and lounge space with a piano. Hotel was kind to let us play the piano too! Room was big, comfortable and clean.

Some rooms have a balcony. Good room, very comfy with a beautiful view!! Quiet place. Spa was amazing!! Breakfast was very good!! We had dinner at the restaurant and at the Bar, good food and service! Overall staff was very friendly!!

I definitely recommend it for complete relaxation, high service and a walk by the ocean. Thank you, we will definitely come back!
