Just 4.5 km from the centre of Maribor, the family-run Motel Lesnik offers a spa area and a miniature golf course. Free WiFi and wired internet is available in all rooms. Evetything was clean, the room was beautiful and spacious. The breakfast was heavenly, with home made juice, pickles, salad from own garden, and locally sourced free range eggs. The home made cakes were also delicious! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, always smiling. On the property there is a mini golf course and a big playground. There is also enough parking spaces. This was a already our third stay here and we will definitely come back next year!

My partner and me were to the Chocolate Village for a weekend in August (Fri-Sun). It is so beautiful as in the pictures, it is quite even with families with kids and other couples. What did we like? 1. The breakfast is great, the products are from high quality and to take it outside in the balcony was really nice. 2. The silence and relaxed environment 3. The green area and the river 4. The personal is really nice and helpful 5. The room small but very cozy and beautiful, you have everything you need there. 6. The small pool for refreshing was top. 7. The restaurant just a few meters is a saver. 8. The bicycles we rent allowed us to make a great active morning through the forest, even when it was very hot we didn’t feel it there. For sure we will come back, next time with kids and in Autum.

Featuring a casino, two restaurants, a spa centre and a wine bar, Mond, Resort & Entertainment is located 2 km from the Šentilj border crossing and 16 km from the centre of Maribor. Great breakfast, super nice staff and very good price. I can only recommend it, the small spa was also very good :)

Located in Miklavž, about 9 km from the centre of Maribor, Apartments Akacijev Izvir offers free bikes, free WiFi access. The ski resort of Mariborsko Pohorje is 11 km away. A great host, hospital and generous. Upon our arrival he treated us with welcome mineral water, home wine and beer. The suite we lived is convinient for a family with 1-2 children. Cable TV provides a lot of programs including various movies, sport and news channels. In the kitchen you have everything you need to cook whatever you want. If something of additional kitchen staff is needed the host will supply it. The host arranged a unforgettable dinner for us with fresh seefood and nice local wines for very moderate price. My experience at Hotel Bajt was outstanding. The staff was exceptionally warm, helpful and very accommodating. The room was impeccably clean, cosy, and had all the necessary amenities for a pleasant visit. The service was excellent, with the staff going the extra mile to ensure a smooth and stress-free stay. Breakfast was served on a charming terrace overlooking a small garden. Various options include a broad selection of cold cut meats and cheeses, yoghurt, oatmeal, cereal and fruits, along with tea and filter coffee. The hotel provides free car parking for guests. It’s located quite a distance from the city centre, which takes around 10-15 minutes by either bus (number G6) or taxi. Fortunately, the hotel is in a peaceful area, enabling one to enjoy a restful night’s sleep without any disruptions. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking excellent hospitality and comfort.
