The whole lodge experience - location, decor and amenities, wood fired tub, dinner options. The game drives were an outstanding experience and I will definitely be retuning. Our driver, Freedom, was exceptional and I felt we got everything out of the trip we had hoped for.

The staff during our stay were incredibly helpful, friendly and seemed proud of their job. The food was top notch (thanks David and Happy!). The setting is amazing and the photos don’t do the rooms or communal spaces justice. We did two game drives over our stay and Rassie was equal parts friendly and knowledgable.

A coffee shop and bar are also available, while room service is also possible. They have a full board package meaning whatever you paid includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and a morning and evening game drive. Everything for my 5 year old child was free. There's a kiddies play area with swings and trampoline and a kiddies room . Swimming pool . Saturdays they have a boma braai for those who love their pap and meat.

The property features two traditional bomas, wooden enclosures, where drinks can be enjoyed by the fire. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in The Kwa Maritane Restaurant, overlooking the waterhole and the park’s natural granite rock formations. We loved the location and the watering hole right by the lodge! As soon as we arrived, we sat down for lunch outside, and a large group of elephants came for a drink. It was magical!

The resort has a restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Barbecue facilities are available.

There is a spa, a souvenir shop. conference facilities and walking trails on site. Staff at the reception can provide information on what to do in the area. Guided game drives within the Pilanesberg National Park can be arranged on advance request. Quiet and peaceful location just outside of Pilanesberg. The rooms were well equipped with everything in working order. The pool was lovely.
