I had a wonderful stay at this gem and went back several times. Would highly recommend as an oasis in busy La Paz. Very safe neighborhood to walk to cafes and shops. The girls did everything they could to make the stay perfect and were always available for questions. Breakfast simple but good.

We had a lovely stay here! Clean, comfortable rooms. It is run by a family and they're very sweet - helped us organize tours, gave us recommendations and made sure we had a pleasant stay. Would come back to stay here if we return to La Paz!

The location of the hotel is very good as it is near to everything. It has a daily market downstairs and some restaurants but also won’t be too noisy. The Witches Market is just only 200m away. For those who love football jersey, there is a street of shops which sell all kind of football jerseys and it has some classic and rare jerseys.

Hotel Sargarnaga is in an AWESOME location if you are looking to visit the witches market, San Francisco Basilica, book tours to the Uyuni area, organise a biking tour down death road, exchange money or eat out. The rooms were comfortable with warm blankets and showers, and the staff were extremely helpful- assisting us with early and late check-in, organising taxis and even helping with printing some documents.

Location was great, about 15-20min walk to El Prado cable car station, and also similar walking distance/time to Obelisco station. The witches market is also close by. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was a typical one but more than enough.
