Exceptional value for money in Switzerland Excellent communication re self check in. I was lucky enough to be given such a lovely room with a balcony and view of the castle. I arrived at the Riederalp Mitte cable car station and it was a 2 minute walk to B&B Zurschmitten. My studio apartment was spacious, clean, and looked to be newly renovated, with a good kitchen space with cooktop and microwave. The Coop was close by. The views from the balcony were wonderful, looking over to the mountains on the other side of the valley. I spent a very comfortable 3 nights here, enjoying the walk trails and visiting the viewpoints over Aletsch Glacier. The people I talked to when I checked in and out, and who served breakfast in the restaurant were all very friendly. The price was very good and I would highly recommend a stay here!

    Location is directly across from the railway station and a quick walk from the city center. Rooms was perfect with a view on the railway station, but it was a silent room. Breakfast was good.
