Wonderful stay – amazing staff! We had a great experience at Atour Light Dongfeng Hotel in Kunming. Special thanks to the two staff at check-in – they were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. The check-out team was also friendly and efficient. Rooo was perfect. The whole staff really made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

Very well located and clean, good value for money. The area is nice and a short walk from pedestrian streets and market, subway 2 mintes away and very convenient if you need to be close to the Railway station. Good breakfast and probably the best thing about it is the staff. We particularly want to thank the girl at reception on the morning of August 17th.

Host was warm and friendly. She kindly helped us when we had difficulty with tour bookings as well. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. The train station is just round the corner, but most places were also a short cab ride away.

I had a fantastic stay! The property itself was comfortable and well-kept, but what truly stood out was the staff. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile—whether it was arranging transportation, giving local tips, or making sure my room was perfect. It felt like they genuinely cared about making my stay special.The owner is also a crystal specialist—don’t miss the chance to meet her and maybe get a little extra good luck! This hotel is located in the center of old quarter, it is very convenient to walk around. If you travel to this from airport by taxi, you will have a short walk (Taxi cannot pick up at the lobby) from the starting of walking street to the hotel. The staff are nice and helpful, they cannot speak English but they use translation apps very well.
