Everything. I always come back here. Hotel is clean and fresh. Of the motorway just a few minuts from the border with France. Beds comfortable, the size of the room lovely clean batchroom. Good internet. Dogs frendly, the breakfast restaurant down stairs you can have your pet with you. Garage under the bilding 5 euro, autside secure also free. Dyscount for petrol for customers of the hotel. Huge 2 shopping centers if your dog is not too big you can take with you while shopping. The best hotel. Number one. Staff member on the reception dedicated to the job, speaks very good English.

It's ideal place for longer stay, we stay for a night as part as long trip. It is very clean, quiet and comfortable. It's in the middle of wheat field which I found amazing.

The hotel has only 11 rooms in a large historic house. It is more like what I would call an Inn because it is unique with a lot of charm. It has a wonderful original wood paneled library for guest use as well as the original living room with hand painted wall paper and coved ceiling, also for guest use. Breakfast was served on a lovely outside terrasse as well as in a breakfast room. Various coffees and a large selection of teas were available as well as juices. Lots of sliced and whole fresh fruit. Hard boiled eggs as well as cold potato omelet and bacon, and cold cuts. There was a nice variety of breads, croissants, buns, and cake and several cereals and milk. The hotels location at the end of the picturesque historic bridge which crossed over the river into the medieval town could not have been better. Our room was large, but I may have rented a larger than standard room. The bathroom was very nice. We had a small balcony with two small chairs that I enjoyed sitting on. The staff at the front desk as well as the breakfast room staff and cleaners were all very helpful and friendly. As we are seniors they helped us with our bags and went out of their way to drive us to the bus stop. The hotel also had a spa service if you wanted to indulge.

Casa Marcial (adults only) is located in the beautiful town of Besalú, just 100 metres from the mediaeval bridge. This property offers a garden with an outdoor pool and great views.

There are three things that you shouldn't miss when you stay here: #1... the infinity pool #2... the free breakfast #3... drinking at night at the outdoor space Staff was really helpful, hospitable, and friendly. They even sprinkled rose petals in the room, which surprised me and my partner. It was a nice gesture, and it made our stay more romantic. I will definitely go back here again!

This is an excellent hotel with a service that you hardly see these days. The owners have passion in what they do and have a beautiful garden with all kind of trees and flowers and plants… we landed here and unfortunately my partner had to go to hospital due to lung collapse… I couldn’t have been happier that I had picked this hotel as everyone is very caring here and we had to leave our doggies in panic and had to go by ambulance to hospital. We caused trouble for other guests and we apologize to all… they understood this was an emergency and did everything to make my stay as good as possible!!! I love this hotel and their staff… we are still here to recover …thank you … the rooms are big and spacious and very clean!!!! Nice touches and just great!!
