If you’re travelling the Route Napoleon by car from Grasse to Lyon like we were, this hotel makes a perfect half way stop. Not really near anything but next to a Brewpub that fortunately for us, being a Friday, had a great atmosphere and a live band. Room was entirely as expected with nothing whatsoever to complain about. Did not have the time to use the spa facilities and didn’t use the property for either dinner and breakfast as we prefer to go and explore the surroundings.

Good hotel with good breakfast within easy walk into town. Lots of parking available. Staff were really great.

Chambre d'Hôtes La Grange des Ecrins is located in Chabottes and offers an outdoor pool with mountain views. The property also features a spa and a wellness centre.

Another great stay at La Grange des Ecrins. Extremely relaxing, lovely hosts and wonderful food. This is a great base from which to explore the Southern Alps. We travelled with an 18 month old and there was lots for him to do at La Grange - slide/swing/tree house, and the owners were very accommodating preparing food for him.

Just 3 km from the centre of Gap, this ivy-covered hotel offers seasonal dishes made from local produce in its restaurant.

the hotel restaurant was fantastic, worthy of a Michelin rating in my view. good price at 36 euros for lunch 3 courses. 40 euros evening 3 courses. the rooms are modern and very comfortable, larger than most hotel rooms, ours had a balcony, worth asking for on a good summers day.

The restaurant is exceptional for a budget hotel. The staff are very friendly. Comfortable bed and plenty of parking on site. We liked it so much we have already booked again for our return trip.

The staff were very accommodating! The cheif cooked us steak at last minute which was amazing. Friendly and helpful was all the team. I would love to go back.

I loved the position of the resort, which is isolated yet very close to Chorges and all amenities. The Chalet is very large and well furnished with all the things a family of four may need. The patio overlooking the lake was the plus, giving us great evening sunset moments to enjoy. The Swimming pool is very well mantained and easy to access , with a nice view over the lake. Having the bar / restaurant was another good add. I just loved the place overall!eouod definitely recommend it especially to families
