Somehow baffled by the astonishing development of Madaba, Black Iris remains for me an absolutely outstanding reference. I stayed in the new building on the 1st floor, the big room was perfectly clean, everything is brand new. But the icing on the cake are the hosts who were very helpful. To save your money and nerves, some tips valid in May 2023. First of all, use the Crown Plaza Beach Pass they offer - for a very good price you will have access to the Dead Sea until evening, umbrellas, free soft drinks and free lunch. Second, you can dine in your own restaurant and pay half for double the quality compared to ...er... outside celebrities. Third, you can pay double or triple the price for the same beer in city restaurants or the right price at your own hotel.

The Mosaic City Hotel is a small and friendly hotel in the heart of Madaba, within easy walking distance of the Church of St George and the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land.

We were surprised by the attitude of all the staff and especially from Jamal :). We got special treatment from all of them. The room was nice and clean. The location and brekfast also was good.

The new and modern Rumman Hotel is a cozy, family-run business. It is quietly located only a 10-minute walk from the historical centre of Madaba, also known as the City of Mosaics.

Our room was comfortable, modern, spacious, with a balcony with a beautiful view of the city. The bed was also really comfortable and everything was clean. I also like lot's of luggage space in in room. The bathroom is very small but everything works properly. I liked the lighting of the room, which created a pleasant atmosphere. The room has a water heater, coffee, bottles of water, towels and a basic set for hygiene. During our visit in February, the air conditioning for heat worked perfectly and room was warm. Free private parking is available behind the hotel. The breakfast buffet was fine - bread, falafel, hummus, vegetables, cheese, butter, honey, coffee tea, egg omelette... The hotel has a great location, 5-10 minutes walk to the center of Madaba, 15 minutes drive to Mount Nebo. The surroundings of the hotel are nice, many shops (also shopping center), restaurants, sightseeing and the vibe of Jordanian life. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. I recommend it.

We stayed one night at Sea Gate Resort and wished we could have stayed longer! The beautiful villa was impeccable, it is spacious, modern, and well-equipped. It included a kitchen with cookware and tableware, an outdoor barbecue area, and a heated infinity pool. We also enjoyed our music using their Bluetooth speakers. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Suleiman and Mahmud. Suleiman helped us to arrange transport to the Salt Beach and Mahmud, the lifeguard accompanied us to the resort's private beach for floating and mud experience. Mahmud was very gentle and humorous, we had an unforgettable fun experience filled with laughter, fresh water and bath towels were also provided, which was a thoughtful touch. The resort is currently expanding its facilities, adding a restaurant, a public pool, and more villas.

This hotel really suited me to a tee. I was looking for a quiet, comfortable and affordable hotel outside of the busy Amman city centre and close to the airport. This hotel was perfect for all of this! The staff were very friendly and really helpful, and I was able to check in no problem after my late flight arrived around midnight. Breakfast was nice, as was the delivered food in the evening at a very decent price. The room was quiet and very spacious. It was easy to take a taxi into town, and only cost around 5JOD. It was also only around 15JOD to the airport. The local area has lots of eateries and a good Safeway supermarket a short walk away. I'm very glad I chose this hotel for my visit to Amman.
