The room was as advertised. The staff service was great. They explained how to use the amenities in the room when we arrived and gave us sweets/tea. There was a dining table with 2 doors, 1 at the entrance way and 1 at the living room so the staff doesn't need to pass through the living room to serve you food (for privacy reasons) which I thought was very well designed. We were able to select 3 yukatas for the 3 nights we stayed here. We didn't use the public onsen because we had a private one in the room so no comments on the onsen they have. The tatami room was huge and spacious. The bed was great. Aircon was easy to use. The private open air bath was well decorated with plants.

I was suprised by cleanliness and overal good state of hotel. Good breakfast. Great location just meters from path to the castle and 15 minute walk from main station.

Location is great, the main gate is right with Ookaido business street, and surprisingly quiet. The onsen is fantastic, nothing beats having a beer with free manga after taking a onsen bath. Staffs are well trained and provide good services. Their breakfast is worth the money as well. Will visit again for sure.

The place was perfect for our group, we had a lot of space, got to borrow bikes for free, utilised the big kitchen. We loved the atmosphere of the place and all agreed that we would stay here again, it was lovely. The owners were very kind and offered us anything we needed.

I really liked the western/Japanese hybrid style room. Very comfortable and all the creature comforts of a Japanese hotel. Private cedar bath included, however the room faces the entrance/road so the ambience isn't the greatest. Overall I quite enjoyed my stay.

    everything! the value for the money is really good. We felt this hotel was more than 3 stars. felt really premium. bed was super comfortable. I needed another pillow and staff showed me 3 different options. Breakfast was super good and felt like they had a lot of options and freshly made food such as homemade tofu. One of the best hotels we stayed in Japan.
