I saw Google photos prior to arriving and was a bit worried and made the wrong choice - it looked very worn out. In reality, the photos on Booking were more accurate than Google. The room was spacious, in good condition and smelt heavenly. Thermostatic heaters kept us warm at night. The restaurant was simple but good.

Perfect place for a family stay! The play area in from of the hotel is just perfect for kids, the food is pretty nice and the staff is simply amazing! In particular, the receptionist was of great help to us.

Perfect located right on the Transfagarasan. There are secured parking for motorcycles behind gate. It seems popular with motorcycle travelers doing the Transfagarasan. My room had a small balcony perfect for a afternoon beer after all the riding. Cold beers can purchased cheap across the street in a shop. There is a cafe 50 m away, which do simply hot meals.
