We want all of our guests to get a great night's rest ahead of a day out exploring the Great Barrier Reef & Rainforest. Tim was friendly and accommodating upon our arrival and helped us choose a tour to the Barrier Reef. The hostel has a relaxed and social atmosphere. They make an effort to recycle and reduce energy use etc. Overall one of the better hostels I've stayed in in Australia.

Refurbished in May, 2018, Mad Monkey Village featuresa TV, a kitchen, bathrooms with air-conditioners in every room. There is also an outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi provided.

All the private double rooms are air-Conditioned and come with towels. I had an incredible stay at this hostel ! The location is simply perfect, close to everything you might need. The kitchen is a real asset, very well equipped with even an oven ! The pool with its hammock creates a very relaxing tropical atmosphere. Plus, the rooms are nice and comfortable, adding to the overall experience. But what really makes this place special is the convivial atmosphere between guests and the staff: always there to help with a smile, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this youth hostel to anyone looking for a memorable stay !

Great location right next to the beach and cafe downstairs to grab some food. Apartment was well equipped and perfect for kicking back and relaxing

Free private parking is available and the apartment also features car hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. The location of the hotel was peaceful. It was close to the beach and kids parks which suited our 2 year old son perfectly.

The hostel offers a terrace. You can play table tennis at this 3-star hostel, and the area is popular for hiking. The staff at reception who checked me in and out (Javi and Carmen)were super nice and helpful! There is lots of fun activities everyday to get involved in both in the hostel and out in the botanical gardens and elsewhere! Good place to meet people and make friends! Good bar aswell! They have a regular bus that gets you in and out of the city to the hostel which is great! 😊

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room were good for the price. I would stay here again
