We absolutely loved this hotel in Switzerland, not only for the price, but for the kind treatment we got at the reception, always very open to provide answers and recommendations. De Ville is a charming hotel situated in a picturesque medieval village with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. It features free Wi-Fi and fine dining with renowned regional specialities.... The rooms were large and equipped with the basics. The location in the middle of Gruyeres is ideal. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcome.

We arrived around 8 pm and the hotel restaurant was full due to a party, so we could not eat there. The manager quickly provided us with a menu and 2 delicious meals with wine were served in our room. The room was big, with bathroom, a living room and kitchen with table. Fantastic!
