Less than 15 minutes’ drive from Glasgow International Airport, this hotel is surrounded by stunning scenery on the edge of the Scottish Highlands. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park are 5 minutes away by car. The location was excellent, really easy parking. The rooms were more spacious than expected and the bathroom had higher quality fittings. It was easy to book for dinner and we were really well taken care of by all the staff.

Located on the banks of Loch Long with breathtaking views of the Arrochar Alps, the Village Inn offers en-suite rooms and free WiFi in all areas.

The building’s character is complemented by individual room features including a TV, tea/coffee facilities and a private bathroom. Some rooms overlook the loch. This cute pub with rooms was our favorite stay. Located near Loch Lomond, it was away from the tourist zones. Our cute room was enhanced by the outdoor spaces and common areas of the Inn.

Situated next to Balloch Rail Station, Tullie Inn offers comfortable accommodation 1 mile from Alexandria town centre. Free WiFi is available in all public areas, and free private parking is possible on site. We had an exceptional time at Tullie from the moment we walked in the staff were friendly and courteous. Check-in was a breeze and the room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was inclusive and the food options were enjoyable. The bar area and outside beer gardens were also great to utilise. Parking available on site and side access to accommodation area if staying out later than when the front doors are locked for the evening. Access to local tours on the Loch easy access from hotel just across the road.

On the east shore of Loch Lomond, this award-winning family-run country inn is constructed from locally quarried slate and offers a perfect tranquil location for a romantic or relaxing break.

Standing in the shade of a magnificent 500-year-old oak tree, this traditional bar/restaurant is ideal for those wishing to escape from the rush of modern day life. The non-smoking inn is adjacent to the West Highland Way and is ideal for walkers. After a long day spent exploring the region’s magnificent scenery and breathing in the invigorating fresh air, you can satisfy your hard-earned hunger with a delicious meal. Food is served all day and the bar has a cosy, welcoming atmosphere and a real log fire. I really enjoyed the privacy and charm of the room. Food in the restaurant is a must (try the steak pie). Also the location is superb. So much to do close by (check out the website for great tips). The staff was really helpful too.

On the banks of Loch Lomond in the magnificent Queen Elizabeth Forest, this hotel has spectacular views of Ben Lomond, the loch and mountains to the north.

Rowardennan Hotel is accessible, yet remote. It is an hour from Glasgow, but located at the foot of Ben Lomond (974 metres high) and encircled by woodland. Loved the comfortable, warm hospitality. Comfortable beds. Staff were amazing.
