There is a shuttle that can take you to the amalfi town. There is an available parking and they have a very good restaurant. An advantage for people who is tired from the day trips. My partner really loved the Sun bed area with a shower to chill. The room was spacious and we had our nice balcony for the sea view. We were happy that the room had a fridge and a kettle for tea.

The location is absolutely stunning — waking up to the breathtaking views from our room was the highlight of our trip. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, always ready to assist with recommendations and arrangements, which made everything so easy for us. The morning breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of fresh pastries, fruits, and local specialties to start the day from their own farm . We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast .

With a garden, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The accommodation offers room service, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. I've seen so many hotels, but I've never seen such attention. The rooms are magnificent, the breakfast is fantastic, and the location is excellent. Buses depart from in front of the hotel, and the public parking lot is just steps away. When I arrived, it was full, so the owner came and gave me his own parking spot. They provide towels for the beach. We left ours on the beach, but despite our insistence, they refused to charge us extra. Rather than staying in a poor hotel in Positano, it's fantastic to stay at a magnificent hotel like this in Praiano and explore Positano by bus. When I asked for information about the beach, the staff opened a map and explained where to go, where to eat, and everything. They were always there for us and responded to every message immediately.

The place is ran by Giovanni and his family, and they make you feel at home from the minute you arrive at Il Barilotto. If I return to Positano (and I hope I do!), I wouldn’t think about staying anywhere else. 10 out of 10!

Located in an 18th-century building, the property is a 15-minute walk from the beach. The view is incredible and the staff were engaging, hospitable, available, and friendly. A really lovely experience. Breakfast was great, check in easy and informative, location unbeatable. Despite being on the main street, it was quiet.

The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. We were quite surprised and absolutely impressed that the hotel owner actually walked from the hotel to the bus stop to greet us. Prior to our arrival from Amalfi he texted to ensure we were on the correct bus and that we got off at the correct stop. He walked us back to the hotel and straight to our room. The room was large and very clean, had the usual amenities, and included a balcony where we could see the activities in the small town square. We believe it was the family patriarch that looked for us the next morning as we sat on a local bench near the hotel just taking in the morning. He invited us to the dining room behind the hotel for a wonderful breakfast that included entirely too much food for two of us.
