The area is very varied with forest, water and historical surroundings. In the middle of an oasis of tranquillity and nature lies Hotel and Restaurant van Saaze. We arrived very late It was a tough day ! The car broke down and the sim card does not work great travel to be away from the real world 😂 however we would say that Hotel Van Saaze makes everything smooth. We thought we wont have the key to enter as it was super late and we notify the hotel with late notice. However they prepared the key in the box and just called them on an emergency number, they are on it right away to assist you! Late check in is okay. With such a tiring long day we rested super well in this hotel. My husband says they have the best comfy bed ever! yes! we booked a comfy room and it was really comfy!! with the best bed quality! The room was super clean and you got everything you needed with an amazing atmosphere and was very peaceful. Thumbs up Hotel Van Saanze. Highly recommended for someone who loves tranquility and cares about resting well before the big day the day after!

My mum and aunt went back to Holland to see their mother for the last time, and unfortunately, she passed away whilst they were there. The staff were empathetic to their situation and good not have been more accommodating. Their lovely bus driver drove them to the home where their mum was. I was so pleased my mum and aunt were in such good hands. Everyone went above and beyond.

I love the location which is next to a little lake and the woods. It was also close to the cycle path that we took traversing the road along the lake from Enkhuizen. There were many cycle paths around, plenty of birds and trees. The place was close to the main road where vehicles used daily but we were not bothered by it because our room was next to the lake that we could even see the sunset from the window. It would have nice if we had a room with a balcony. The room was spacious with the amenities we needed for our stay. There was air-conditioning though we didn't use it because the fan was enough. They even provided water which was a surprise because normally water costs a lot in Netherlands. The food was great! We even got the soup buffet which was fantastic!
